New Jersey - Eastern Pennsylvania - Delaware HERC

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the lab at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Laboratory Technician performs routine laboratory processes and follows routine protocols under close supervision.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate standard equipment.
• Use standard procedures for specific laboratory tests and preparation techniques.
• Assist with laboratory maintenance, prepare solutions, and order supplies.
• Identify and report problems in the completion of routine lab processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or graduation equivalent.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

• Some science coursework and/or training certificate from a technical institute.
