The Nursing Program of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position (12-month) to assume teaching responsibilities within the graduate nursing program. Candidates with advanced expertise in the areas of psychiatric mental health are encouraged to apply.
This is a faculty position with an additional coordinator position of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. The coordinator reports to the Associate Dean of Nursing and the Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. The coordinator leads the PMHNP program in a manner that is consistent with the University’s mission and objectives, reinforces the department’s pursuit of academic excellence. The coordinator encourages effective teaching, maintains an administrative environment conducive to the work and collegiality of the department; and fosters scholarship and other professional activity. The position includes teaching and clinical activity.
The position is a 9-month faculty appointment with a 12-month secondary appointment as a coordinator.

Teaching assigned courses; collaborating with course faculty for course planning, advisement, and curriculum development; participation in program, school and University committees; service and scholarship in line with program expectations. Coordination of PMHNP program, clinical site coordination, oversight of clinical sites, curriculum oversight, and accreditation compliances.

• Registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is required
• Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field.
• Demonstrated record of professional and clinical experience, teaching, and curriculum development.
• Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
