Internal Number: 178315598 Princeton University The Davidson Lab is searching for postdoctoral or more senior research candidates interested in studying the interactions between hydrogels, cement, and multiscale pore structure for water uptake and retention in materials for urban infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Moini and Datta labs at Princeton.We seek candidates with expertise in some of the following: polymer and hydrogel synthesis (including molecular analysis tools such as NMR and GPC), imaging (techniques of interest include both optical methods and tools such as micro-CT), surface- and bulk- characterization approaches such as contact angle goniometry, scanning- and transmission- electron microscopy, and thermal and mechanical analysis. Prior experience working with cement, and/or prior experience with extrusion-based additive manufacturing (3D printing) tools a plus but not required.Princeton University is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.
