Internal Number: 178155221 Princeton University The Department of Psychology at Princeton University invites applications for 1-2 Postdoctoral Researcher Associates or more senior researchers, to begin in Summer or Fall of 2022. We are seeking motivated and productive researchers with doctoral degrees in psychology or a related field, to be completed by the position's start date. Associates will work with Dr. Rebecca Carey and Dr. Nicole Shelton on research broadly examining inequality, social interactions, and relationships. They will assist in designing and executing a longitudinal, dyadic study on intergroup relationships. Additionally, associates will work with each PI on individual projects, including the influence of social class on relationships, the relationship between intergroup interactions and health, and interventions for intergroup friendship development.Responsibilities will include establishing and managing collaborative, multisite research projects; conducting advanced statistical analysis on complex data sets; disseminating research through presentations and journal publications; and mentoring junior members of the labs. An ideal candidate will have demonstrated interest in research on inequality, evidence of an existing research program in social psychology or a related area, strong skills in designing and executing research studies, superb analytic skills, and excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.The position is offered for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal, contingent upon funding and satisfactory performance.
